Q + A

Can I bring a guest?

If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, no. Our goal is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Can I bring children?

We have decided to have adults only at our wedding. We hope you can understand. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be a New Orleans-style formal event, and we kindly request that our guests dress accordingly. The attire is black tie. We ask that guests refrain from wearing white or cream, but do encourage colorful black-tie dresses for women. For women wearing heels, please note that the second-line parade will go through the streets of New Orleans, where there may be uneven ground. The other weekend events, including the rehearsal dinner and welcome party, are both cocktail attire.

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make necessary adjustments to our plans. On the other hand, if you are able to attend please RSVP by March 9, 2024 so that we can provide our vendors with the accurate headcount and ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience. Thank you for your understanding and prompt response. We cannot wait to see you on our big day!

Can I take photos or bring my cell phone?

We kindly request that you do not use your cell phone during the ceremony.

When should we arrive at the event?

We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony time which is 6:30 pm. This will give everyone time to mingle and get seated. This is a busy time of year in New Orleans, so please make a note to leave a little earlier for unexpected traffic.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

No, but there is paid daily parking for up to 6 hours at the Omni Royal Hotel located at 621 St. Louis Street. Uber or Lyft is also always a good choice for French Quarter visits!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in the Brennan's Courtyard. While we're optimistic for beautiful weather, we have made arrangements in case of inclement weather.

Is there parking at The Eliza Jane Hotel?

The Eliza Jane offers valet parking only for $45/night.
